The restaurant Epicuré in Malmoe has become famous for their tasty and praiseworthy south Italian courses. The restaurant also has a delicacy shop with imported Italian foods such as cheeses, sausages and oils. A lot of people have found the small restaurant and on the 12th of September the gates to their new affiliate, Epicuré Due, on Västergatan 9 was opened. Angelo Miraglia is kitchen chef at Epicuré: Why are you opening a sister restaurant?- Mainly it’s because we lack room in our first restaurant and secondly it’s because we got the opportunity when we found the new facility. Does the new restaurant any different comparing to the first one?- Only when it comes to the interior design. The concept is the same. What makes your concept so successful?- I think it’s because we have chosen a safe concept. Our strengths are our simple but tasty Italian basic recipes. What would you personally recommend on the menu?- Our sea food pasta that is made out of black octopus pasta. We avoid meat balls and other courses that often are considered to be typical Italian courses. Do you have anything special planned this autumn?- No, we are going to keep working with varying our food.
