Even though spring often start with great weather and crowded parks, you probably need to face reality; it will rain someday. But don’t worry! Malmoe has lots of places to see on a rainy day. Here’s your guide on what to do on a rainy Malmoe day! Go to the movies!This is something you usually do in the evening but it can actually be pretty cozy to keep indoors and imagine the rain pouring outside. If on a Monday and in season, you can visit Doc Lounge, a documentary film club which weekly shows new documentaries of current relevance. Moreover, they have both a bar, comfy cushions on the floor and dj’s. Starts at 7pm. Otherwise you can visit Cinemateket film club at cinema Biograf Spegeln. Be cultural!Malmoe has a number of museums you ought to pay a visit, the mandatory preschool visit does not count. Malmö Museer (Malmoe museum) is a good choice, here you get both natural history, medieval handicraft, submarines and photography. You can borrow video games and read magazines as well, always good fun when raining. BargainingTake the opputunity to shop while waiting for the bad weather to pass! To minimize the risk of getting wet you can go to IKEA or a mall, like Triangeln Köpcentrum or Hansa. Or why not visit the indoors flea markets, f. ex. Marknadsbörsen and Friishallen/Antikt & Sånt, both full of bargains. Here you might be able to find things you’ll need for sunnier days- chairs for the balcony, flower pots and such. Then when you get home you might want to grab the opportunity to make your place look that extra bit summery: maybe plant some flowers? Pizza in front of the tellyLast but not least you can always sink down in front of your telly or computer and watch a maraton of TV series! For a perfect day at home you need pizza and that is something Malmoe’s good at. The best pizza in town you find at Två Markiser, near by Möllevångstorget. Here you can get gourmet pizzas with mozzarella cheese and fresh herbs. Otherwise, rainy days are actually pretty good to get a hand of household economy , call those relatives you probably should have talked to long ago or clean the house. Have a nice day!
