Örenäs Slott

Örenäs Castle is a barock style castle dating back to the turn of the century. The castle offers a selection of designer rooms of individual character and style whether you choose to stay at the castle itself or the adjoining manor house and hotel. The castle building features ten rooms including one large and one small suite while the historical manor houses of Maryhill and Ameliminne have 13 rooms. All rooms are equipped with WC, shower, TV, telephone, refrigerator, hairdryer, trouser press and a safety box plus wireless Internet access. The outside area features an outdoor swimming pool, crazy golf and boules. Indoors there is a fitness room, sauna and solarium. For the golf player there are twenty-six 18 holes golf courses within a 50 kilometre radius. Other facilities at Örenäs Castle include twelve conference rooms, with a capacity of up to 300 people, plus ten meeting rooms. Enjoy a meal in the castle dinner hall with views of the castle gardens, the Sound and Ven Island. The outdoor bistro on the castle terrace is open in the summer and there is also a lobby bar and wine cellar. Give yourself a culinary treat where innovative cooking meets local food traditions. À la carte is served seven days a week and Sunday dinner 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Or, why not visit the basement pantry for a meal without the need for a knife and fork!
